| 2. Heaven they shall not ascend, nor shall they come on the earth. This shall be the portion of sinners, who deny the name of the Lord of spirits, and who are thus reserved for the day of punishment and of affliction.

They will not ascend to heaven, and will not come on the earth; such will be the portion of the sinners who deny the name of the Lord of the spirits, who are thus preserved to the day of suffering and sorrow.

De skola icke uppstiga till himmelen, ej heller skola de komma på jorden. Sådan skall de syndares lott blifva, som förneka Andarnes Herres namn och som sålunda blifva förvarade till straffets och plågornas dag.

Till himmelen skola de icke uppstiga, och till jorden skola de icke komma. Så blir de syndares lott, som förneka andarnas Herres namn och hvilka skola bevaras till lidandets och bedröfvelsens dag.
